Trouble-shooting |
The transmission is equipped with a self-diagnosis system. |

If there is damage which does not endanger driving safety, the fault is stored in the control unit, but the telltale does not flash. The transmission remains operational, except for the function of the defective component. |

|
If the telltale flashes, the control unit switches automatically to the emergency program. All stored trouble codes can be read out using TECH 1/TECH 1A or TECH2- see Checking Procedures "4-speed Automatic Transmission AF 13/14/20/22" |
