Transmission Casing, Replace (Transmission Removed) (F 10/F 15)  

Attach Holders KM-489 to transmission.     Disassemble    Unbolt shift cover from transmission. Pull end shield with main and drive shafts out of transmission housing.

Remove differential clutch thrust bearing and clutch thrust bearing guide. Unscrew cover for transmission casing.   Press out both bearing bushings (arrows) for clutch release lever using KM-304.   Remove speedometer helical gear (driven).   See corresponding operations for each.

  Install, Connect   

Drive in both bearing bushings for clutch release lever with KM-304. Insert cams of bushings in housing recesses. Lubricate bushing interior with special grease.   Drive new bearing for main and drive shaft into housing. Fit differential - see corresponding operations.   Bolt clutch closure cover to transmission. Install transmission. Top up transmission fluid. Adjust transmission shift linkage.
