Note:  

The last 10 digits of the vehicle identification number (chassis number) are stored in the control unit. The vehicle identification number (chassis number) consists of a letter and number combination.  

•  Ignition OFF  

•  Press corresponding key in the system main menu to call up Programming functions, select the desired test and confirm with YES. Follow the instructions in the diagnostic tester display.  

•  The arrow keys are used to program the security code. Select the desired digit and confirm with YES. The diagnostic tester then automatically advances to the next digit. The character that can be changed is indicated by the flashing cursor. When all security code digits have been programmed confirm with ENTER.  

 

 

•  If the following display appears at the end of the test, the test has been completed successfully.

Note:  

Before the first programming is called up after communication has been established, you must enter the security code. The security code protects the control unit from unauthorised access. The valid code number is printed in the car pass.
