When adjusting the actuation cable, always replace the insert (2). The Aftersales department maintains the insert (2), the insert adjusting pin (3) and the insert fastening piece (1) as individual parts in the delivery programme.

Release insert fastening piece (1) and push insert (2) backwards by turning the insert adjusting pin (3).

Push the slide assembly (1) completely forwards until the engaging lever of front guide (2) engages in the front recess (3) of the guide rail.

Adjust rear guide (4) by sliding until the retaining hook (5) is at the highest point of the insert (6).

I Shows the correct position of hold-down hook (5) and insert (6).

Push the slide assembly (1) backwards and adjust the insert (6) with the insert adjusting pin so that there is no play between the retaining hook (5) and the insert (6).

Push the connecting pin (1) of the rear guide flush with the adjusting notches (2) of the side guide (3). Turn the insert (4) forwards with the insert adjusting pin (5) 0.1 to 0.2 mm . Fasten the insert fastening piece (6) firmly in place (using torque wrench MKM-J-6459-B ).

I Shows the correct adjustment of hold-down hook (7) relative to the insert (4).

Note:   The insert fastening piece is installed with locking compound. When replacing the insert fastening piece, turn the screw carefully into the thread to prevent damaging the thread.

Insert fastening piece (6) to actuation unit 0.7 Nm
