Remove

Detach front panelling
Note: On Tigra-B (Model
R97): detach front panelling

Important: On vehicles as of
model year 04 with ESP - every time the battery is disconnected,
the steering angle sensor loses its basic setting. It must be
recalibrated.

Disconnect battery
|
4. |
Remove charge air hose
• |
From turbocharger to charge air pipe
|
• |
Disconnect quick-release coupling
|
|
|
5. |
Loosen charge air pipe (1)
|
6. |
Release fan housing
• |
Unscrew 2 bolts (arrows)
|
|
7. |
Disconnect fan wiring harness
|
10. |
Loosen charge air pipe
• |
Unscrew 2 lower bolts (3)
|
|
|
11. |
Remove upper right radiator bracket
|
12. |
Loosen 2 lower radiator brackets
|
|
|
13. |
Remove fan housing
Note: Remove charge air
pipe; remove fan housing downwards
|
15. |
Reassemble small parts
|
Install
16. |
Install fan motor
• |
Tighten 3 new nuts 4.5 Nm
|
|
17. |
Install fan housing
Note: Fit charge air
pipe; fit fan housing from below
|
18. |
Secure 2x lower radiator bracket
|
19. |
Fasten charge air pipe
• |
Tighten 2 lower bolts 5 Nm
|
|
21. |
Install right radiator bracket
• |
Tighten bolt 20 Nm
Note: Insert bolts with
locking compound (red)
|
|
24. |
Clip in coolant hose.
|
25. |
Connect fan wiring harness
|
26. |
Fasten charge air pipe
• |
Tighten upper bolt 5 Nm
|
|
27. |
Install charge air hose
• |
Close quick-release fitting
|
|
28. |
Attach front panelling
Note: On Tigra-B (Model
R97): attach front panelling
|

Program volatile memory
