J320000 Crankshaft, Remove and Install (Z 18 XE, without Air Conditioning) > < Remove and install crankshaft (Z 12 XE, Z 12 XEP, Z 14 XEP, without air conditioning)

Corsa C

J320720 Crankshaft Rear Seal Ring, Replace (up to MY 04)

  Remove

1.   Remove manual transmission
2.   Remove clutch
3.   Detach flywheel
•   Remove 6 bolts
•   Remove KM-652 (1)
4.   Remove crankshaft rear seal ring
•   Place collecting basin underneath.
•   Lever out crankshaft rear seal ring
Note:   Do not damage sealing surface
5.   Clean sealing surface
6.   Install rear crankshaft seal ring
•   Coat seal lip with grease
•   Place KM-235-6 (1) on crankshaft journal
•   Push seal ring (2) onto KM-235-6
•   Drive in until flush using KM-658-1 (3)

  Install

7.   Recut crankshaft thread.
8.   Clean flywheel
9.   Attach flywheel
•   Renew bolts
•   Tighten 6x bolts 35 Nm + 30° + 15°
– Block using KM-652
10.   Install clutch
11.   Install manual transmission
12.   Check engine oil level and correct if necessary
