Remove from crankshaft ribbed V-belt pulley

• |
Release ribbed V-belt tensioner

|
|
|
|

Detach crankshaft ribbed V-belt pulley (1)
• |
Counterhold at crankshaft hub bolt
|
|

Loosen crankshaft hub bolt
Note: Second person
required

Attach KM-956-1 / KM-956-2 (3)
|
• |
Counterhold KM-956-1 / KM-956-2
|
|

Remove crankshaft hub (2)
Note: Pay attention to
installation position

Remove with KM-956-1 / KM-956-2
|
|
8. |
Remove front crankshaft seal ring
Note: Do not damage
sealing surface

Lever out timing case seal ring
|
|
9. |
Clean sealing surfaces
• |
Timing case, crankshaft hub
|
|
|
Install
|

Install front crankshaft seal ring (1)
• |
Coat sealing lips with silicon grease (white)
|
• |
Drive in until flush using KM-960
|
|
11. |
Attach crankshaft hub
• |
Note crankshaft hub installation position

Marking must point upwards
|
|
|
12. |
Tighten crankshaft hub bolt
Note: Second person
required

Counterhold with KM-956-1 / KM-956-2
|
• |
Tighten bolt 150 Nm + 45°
|
• |
Detach KM-956-1 / KM-956-2
|
|
|
13. |
Attach crankshaft ribbed V-belt pulley
• |
Tighten bolts 8 Nm
– |
Counterhold at crankshaft hub bolt
|
|
|
14. |
Install ribbed V-belt
Note: Note running

Release ribbed V-belt tensioner

Install ribbed V-belt cover

Check and correct engine oil level
