Spark Plugs, Remove and Install (Z 18 XE, with Air Conditioning, LHD) > < Replace exhaust manifold gasket (sheet metal manifold version)

Corsa C

Remove and install spark plugs (Z 14 XE, Z 16 YNG with air conditioning, RHD)

1.   Open bonnet
2.   Remove engine cover.
•   Unscrew oil filler pipe cap
•   Unscrew 2 bolts
•   Unclip coolant hose
•   Screw on oil filler pipe cap
3.   Remove DIS ignition module
•   Unscrew 4 bolts
•   Disconnect wiring harness plug of DIS ignition module
•   Remove DIS ignition module
– Use KM-6009 (1)
Note:   Do not tilt when removing.

4.   Remove 4 spark plugs
•   Use KM-194-E (1)
Object Number: 2406278 Size: DEFAULT


5.   Install 4 spark plugs
•   Tighten 4 spark plugs
– Tightening torque 25 Nm
6.   Fit DIS ignition module
•   Unscrew KM-6009
•   Tighten 4 bolts
– Tightening torque 8 Nm
•   Connect wiring harness plug.
7.   Install engine cover.
•   Unscrew oil filler pipe cap
•   Tighten 2 bolts
– Tightening torque 8 Nm
•   Screw on oil filler pipe cap
•   Clip in coolant hose.
8.   Close bonnet
