Check cooling system for leaks (Z 10 XE, Z 10 XEP)

  Remove

1.   Open bonnet
Warning:   Do not open coolant compensation tank cap until engine has cooled down
2.   Unscrew cover of coolant compensation tank
3.   Check coolant level at coolant compensation tank
•   To marking KALT/COLD – top up coolant if necessary
4.   Attach cooling system tester (2)
•   Attach KM-471 (1)

5.   Apply pressure to cooling system
•   With approx. 100 kPa (1 bar)
6.   Check cooling system for leaks
•   Check for leaks
7.   Detach cooling system tester
•   Release pressure
•   Detach KM-471

  Install

8.   Close cover of coolant compensation tank
9.   Close bonnet
