Subject: Engine Z13DT - Noise poly-v-belt

Corsa-C 2003...2005,Corsa-C Combo 2003...2005,Agila 2003...2005,Tigra-B 2003...2005 Z13DT,Y13DT,Z13DT,Z13DT
Complaint: Noise from poly-v-belt drive because of damaged decoupler of alternator. Mainly affected are vehicles with long duration at idle speed; frequent stop/start of engine.
Cause: Insufficient durability because of low engine idle speed causes resonance.
Production: Engine idle speed has been increased in production as of the following VIN's: <*1*> W0L0XCF6856101110 (Eisenach, 01.06.2005), W0L0HAF685G099032 (Gliwice, 06.06.2005), W0L0XCR975E033984 (Heuliez: 03.06.2005), W0L0XCF6854326077 (Corsa-C 01.06.2005).

Remedy:

In case of customer complaint replace decoupler (part-no. 93 178 273 - cat.no. 12 04 392) and increase idle speed by 50 RPM as of Tech-II version 14.300 (TIS 2000-CD63).
