Adjust selector lever actuation cable
(AF13-II)
 Remove
| 1. |
Checking adjustment of selector lever actuation cable:
| • |
Move selector lever to positions P, R, N, D, 3, 2 and 1 in
sequence
| – |
Press locking button whilst doing this
|
|
| • |
Actuation lever (1) on transmission must engage in: P (2), R,
N, D, 3, 2 and 1
|
|
| 2. |
Open locking clip (3) on selector lever actuation cable
upwards
| • |
Use a suitable screwdriver
|
|
|
|
Install
| 3. |
Move selector lever to the "P" position
| • |
Ensure that the selector lever engages correctly in the "P"
position by moving the selector lever forwards and backwards
without pressing the locking button
|
| • |
Turn actuation lever (1) on the transmission as far as it will
go (2)
|
| • |
Turn front wheels until latch engages in parking lock wheel
|
|
| 4. |
Secure locking clip (3) to selector lever actuation cable
| • |
Push locking clip downwards
|
|
|
