Front Fuel Supply Line, Remove and Install
Z 13 DT, Z 13 DTJ, Z 17 DTH
Warning: Fuel escape
- safety requirements and country-specific regulations should be
observed. Drained fuel should be stored in a suitable, sealable
container.
 Remove

Detach front axle body
Note: For the Combo-C
with Z 13 DT and Z 13 DTJ engines

Detach front fuel supply line (1) from fuel filter
Note: For Z 17 DT, Z 17
DTH
| • |
Disconnect wiring harness plug (2) for fuel preheating
|
| • |
Remove fuel filter housing (4) from crash box
|
| • |
Release front fuel supply line with KM-796-A
|
| • |
Seal fuel line with KM-6015
|
|
| 4. |
If present: remove fuel return line for add-on heater (3) from
branch on fuel hose and seal
Note: Seal fuel hose
with a suitable plug.

Detach front fuel supply line (1) from fuel filter
Note: For Z 13 DT, Z 13
DTJ
| • |
Disconnect wiring harness plug (2) for fuel preheating
|
| • |
Remove fuel filter housing (3) from crash box
|
| • |
Release front fuel supply line with KM-796-A
|
| • |
Seal fuel line with KM-6015
|
|
|
|

Unclip front fuel supply line (1)
| • |
Unclip 4 brackets (arrows)
|
| • |
Unclip front fuel return line
|
|
| 7. |
Detach front fuel supply line
| • |
from centre fuel line (2)
|
| • |
Detach quick-release fitting with KM-796-A
|
| • |
Seal fuel lines with KM-3015 (3)
|
|
|
|
| 8. |
Remove front fuel supply line
|
Install
| 9. |
Install front fuel supply line
Note: Do not bend or
damage fuel line!

| 10. |
Connect front fuel supply line (1)
| • |
Remove KM-6015 (3) and attach front
fuel supply line with quick-release fitting to centre fuel supply
line (2)
Note: Quick-release
fitting must engage audibly!

Clip in front fuel supply line
Note: For Z 17 DT, Z 17
DTH
| • |
Clip in 4 brackets (arrows)
|
| • |
Clip in front fuel return line
|
|
|
|
| 12. |
Attach front fuel supply line (1) to fuel filter
| • |
Remove KM-6015 and attach front fuel
supply line with quick-release fitting to fuel filter housing
Note: Quick-release
fitting (2) must engage audibly!

Insert fuel filter housing (4) in crash box
|
| • |
Connect wiring harness plug (3) for fuel preheating
|
|
|
|
| 13. |
Attach front fuel supply line (1) to fuel filter
Note: For the Combo-C
with Z 13 DT and Z 13 DTJ engines

Remove KM-6015 and attach front fuel
supply line with quick-release fitting to fuel filter housing
(3)
Note: Quick-release
fitting must engage audibly!

Connect wiring harness plug (2) for fuel pre-heating
|

Check fuel system for leaks
