Replace steering column switch module

Note:   The steering column switch module and the steering and ignition lock housing are single-unit components.

  Remove

3.	Remove signal switch actuating lever

4.	Remove windscreen wiper actuating lever

5.   Disconnect column integration module (1) •   Release compact plug (2) and disconnect •   Release and disconnect steering and ignition lock wiring harness plug (3, 4)

6.   Remove steering column switch module with steering and ignition lock (1) •   Unscrew bolt (2) using special tool CH-48829 Note:   If no Torx-Plus screw is fitted, replace the existing screw with a new Torx-Plus screw. •   Release catch (3) •   Pull steering column switch module (1) off steering column Note:   Ignition key to position "I"

7.	Detach lock cylinder for steering and ignition lock Note:   For replacement of steering column switch module only.

  Install

8.	Attach lock cylinder for steering and ignition lock

11.	Instal windscreen wiper actuating lever

12.	Remove signal switch actuating lever
