Painting of Standard Plastic Exterior Parts
All plastic parts are marked on the reverse side with an abbreviation according to the type of plastic used (e.g. PUR = Polyurethane). To guarantee adequate paint adhesion, the paint system corresponding to the material must be used.
The systems describe the paint structure on standard painted parts and primed original OPEL/VAUXHALL Service parts. Spraying thick layers of paint on plastic parts is to be avoided. Thick layers of paint can alter the properties of the plastic.
