Alternator (with Vacuum Pump), Remove and Install
Remove
Disconnect battery.
Disconnect alternator connector.
Unscrew retaining screw from tensioning strap.
Remove vacuum hose from vacuum pump.
Raise vehicle.
Disconnect oil lines from vacuum pump.
Loosen retaining bolts of bottom alternator bracket and remove V-belt.
Remove retaining bolts and ease alternator with vacuum pump down and out.
Install
Insert alternator with vacuum pump upwards into bracket and tighten bolts by hand.
Connect oil lines to vacuum pump.
Use new seal rings.
Torque: 25 Nm/18 lbf. ft.
Install V-belt and tension.

Connect vacuum line to vacuum pump.
Connect alternator socket connector.
Connect battery.
