Control Unit, Remove and Install
Caution
Disconnect battery and wait 1 minute until the capacitor has
discharged.
 Remove

Centre console – see operation "Centre Console, Remove and
Install". Air duct – rear mixed air nozzle – see
operation "Air Duct – Rear Mixed Air Nozzle, Remove and
Install" in group "D". Wiring harness plug for control unit (2),
control unit (1).

Install
Control unit (1) – tightening torque 10 Nm / 7.5 lbf. ft.
Control unit wiring harness plug (2), air duct of rear air nozzle,
centre console, battery.
Caution
If a new control unit is installed, it must be programmed
– see "Airbag" Checking Procedures.
