Anti-submarining means
preventing the driver from sliding under the seat belt in the event of a
collision. For this, a switch is installed in the seat console which
interrupts the current feed to the seat height motors as soon as the seat
height at the front is 10 mm/0.4 in. lower than at the rear.
When this occurs, motor M73.1
cannot further lower the seat at the front and motor M73.2 cannot further
raise the seat at the rear.
