·   Voltage to fuse F5

·   Remove F5

·   Measurement at fuse socket F5

·   Voltage to wiring harness coupling X1

X1/ Ter. 50

Ground

·   Insert F5 again

·   Disconnect battery negative terminal

·   Release wiring harness connection X1 and disconnect

·   Connect battery negative terminal

·   Measurement at wiring harness coupling X1/Ter. 50

·   If nominal value is attained: test step 6

Possible Fault:

(If nominal value is not attained)

1.  No battery voltage to fuse F5

2.  Interruption in instrument panel wiring harness between fuse F5 and wiring harness coupling X1/Ter. 50
