| Complaint: |
1.Plastic clip between refrigerant hose and
vacuum hose of the master brake cylinder breaks. 2.Vacuum hose of
the master brake cylinder chafes on the refrigerant hose of the air
conditioning. |
| Cause: |
The plastic clip before MY 98 tears under
torsional load. |
| Production: |
As of VIN W1 007 546 a longer clip with a
swivel joint has been introduced in production. |
Remedy:
Replace broken clip with a clip of MY 98.

Check vacuum hose for damage and replace if required.
