Function of radiator fan relay K26

·   Disconnect wiring harness plug from coolant temperature switch S29 and bridge contacts in wiring harness plug.

·   Ignition on

Radiator fan motors M4 and M11 start opera - ting. Relay box fan motor M28 starts opera - ting

·   Measure only if function is not OK.

·   Disconnect wiring harness plug from coolant temperature switch S29 and bridge contacts in wiring harness plug.

·   Ignition on

·   As above, except without bridge in wiring harness plug of S29.

Possible cause of fault, trouble - shooting:

1.    Fuse F51 defective.

2.    Fuse F52 defective.

3.    Fuse F15 defective.

4.    Coolant temperature switch S29 defective (see S29).

5.    Lead interruption between K26 / Ter. (4) and fuse output F51.

6.    Lead interruption between K26 / Ter. (2) and fuse output F52.

7.    Lead interruption between K26 / Ter. (3) and fuse output F15.

8.    Lead interruption between K26 / Ter. (6) and coolant temperature switch S29 / lead BRBL.

9.    Lead interruption between K26 / Ter. (5) and relay box fan motor M28 / Iead RTWS.

10.  Lead interruption between K26 / Ter. (8) and radiator fan motor M11 / lead RTWS.
