Remove charge air pipe – see operation "Charge Air Pipe,
Remove and Install".
Inspect
The check consists of a function check of the automatic ribbed
V-belt tensioner and an inspection of the ribbed V-belt and the
associated components.
To test the ribbed V-belt tensioner, tension the automatic
ribbed V-belt tensioner in the direction of arrow using a
screwdriver. Allow the screwdriver to slide upwards slowly. The
automatic ribbed V-belt tensioner must slide back to its initial
position.
Install
Install charge air pipe – see operation "Charge Air Pipe,
Remove and Install".
