There are three function ranges in the control unit:

Range I:

-      Injection quantity with special start quantity actuation and full load quantity limitation

-      Engine speed regulation

-      Idle stabilizer and judder dampening

-      Smoke limitation and overheating protection

-      Cruise control (option)

Range II:

-      Injection regulation

-      Exhaust gas recirculation

-      Readout of self - diagnosis

Range III:

-      Regulation for quantity actuator
