Pedal Position Sensor

The pedal position sensor is located in the footwell, above the accelerator pedal.

The actual accelerator pedal position is converted into an electrical signal by the pedal position sensor and sent to the control unit.

The pedal position sensor has a rotary potentiometer, an idle switch and two return springs, which are spatially separated.

The accelerator pedal sensor must not be opened and its adjustment to the accelerator pedal must be extremely precisely maintained.
