Note:
The tests described above are static checks and not
real function checks. For this reason, it is possible that the measurements
are okay, but that the injection pump sensor still does not regulate
properly. The cause of this may be mechanical faults or faults in the circuit
of the pump actuator. Therefore, before replacing the control unit or the
injection pump, first check the pump actuator circuit for faults (see
parameter 21), and then perform a mechanical function check (see Service
Instructions). If the injection quantity regulation still does not function
correctly, the control unit or the injection pump must then be replaced.
