Selection of the menu item F0:
RESET programs the control unit with the basic application.
Note that, among other
adjustments, this resets the idle speed to its basic values. Therefore, if
the F0: RESET function is used for an already programmed control unit or
adjusted engine, then call up the following TECH 1 function and
make / check the relevant adjustment:

appears after programming is completed, programming was successful.

If the display on the right
appears after programming is completed, a fault has occurred during
programming. Carry out the following measures consecutively:
· Repeat
programming;
· Carry
out TECH 1 self - test;
· Check
TECH 1 cable for damaged insulation and shielding;
· Repeat
programming with new Motronic control unit
