·   Engine not in operating condition:

     engine at a standstill, start and restart

·   Short circuit to voltage or interruption in circuit to control unit terminal 17

·   Conditions must be fulfilled for at least 5 s

·   No fault recognition at a pulse ratio greater than 1.2 %

Effects:

·   Controlled canister purge valve regulation is blocked while oxygen sensor regulation and idle air control remain switched on
