·     Engine not in operating condition: engine stationary, start and restart

·     Short circuit to battery voltage or interruption in circuit to control unit Ter. 17

·     Above conditions must be fulfilled for at least 5.0 s

·     No fault recognition at a pulse ratio lower than 1.2 %

Effects:

·     The tank vent valve regulation is blocked, while the oxygen sensor regulation and idle air regulation remain switched on
