Valve Stem Projection, Check  

Object Number: 616195 Size: DEFAULT  Clean   

Clean sealing surface for camshaft housing and remove sealant remnants.  

Object Number: 616196 Size: DEFAULT  Inspect   

Check valve stem projection with KM-512.  

If dimension "I" (17.85 to 18.25 mm) is exceeded, insert new valve and check valve stem projection again.  

If the valve step projection is still too large despite replacement of the valve, replace the cylinder head.  

Before installing valve - see operations "Valve, Grind" and "Valve, Grind In".
