Turbocharging System
The turbocharger is located directly on the exhaust manifold. Its position and the shod connection to the exhaust manifold allow optimal charging of the exhaust flow and thus guarantee immediate turbocharger response.
The turbine housing is one - piece and therefore very light.
The intercooling allows higher specific output due to the improved cylinder charge. In addition, exhaust emissions (especially nitrogen oxide) are reduced and the decrease in the temperature of the turbocharging process reduces the thermal strain on the engine.
The position of the intercooler, on the right behind the front panelling, allows cooling air to flow in through large apertures in the front panelling and thus to provide good intercooling, even at low speeds.
