Black smoke and sudden performance loss at
170 Km/h down to approximately 130 Km/h. |
| Cause: |
The suction inlet hose from air- filter box
to turbo charger collapses due to poorly fitted or blocked
airfilter. |
| Production: |
As of MY 95,5 an improved inlet hose has
been installed. |
Remedy:
In case of complaint replace the inlet suction hose.
Cat/part no.: 58 36 746/(90 528 814). Check the plastic inlet
manifold for correct sealing. See also Field Remedy Instruction
