NO ENGINE SPEED SIGNAL

·   The fault is only recognized at a transmission output speed above 1024 rpm and a throttle valve position greater than 12 % and in selector lever position "1", "2", "3" or "D" after 0.5 s.

·   Engine speed is not recognized by transmission control unit.

Effects:

·  Solenoid valves (brake band, 1 - 2 / 3 - 4 shifting, 2 - 3 shifting, torque converter clutch) and electrohydraulic pressure regulator are switched off

·   If the fault is recognized, the following gears can still be shifted manually in each driving stage (emergency program):

     "Driving stage" (gear) "D"(4), "3"(4), "2"(3), "1"(1)
