VARIANT-CODING NOT PROGRAMMED

-

·   If the engine variant is incorrectly coded or not coded at all after replacement of the transmission control unit, this trouble code appears, and "F7" for the variant coding flashes in TECH 1

 

 

Effects:

 

·   Only the TECH 1 menu "F7" can be selected

     (see F7:Programming / select relevant engine)

 

 

Note:

 

Control units for vehicles with diesel engines cannot be programmed When installing a transmission control unit that is already programmed, always check the variant coding.
