Modifications to R 25 and R 28 Transmissions
The transmission housings are adapted to the engine flanges (petrol and turbodiesel engines). The following illustration shows the various transmission flange versions.

The transmission drive shafts and the ratios of the main shaft and the auxiliary shaft gear cluster have been adapted to the various engine versions.
The use of the central release makes unnecessary the release lever and the opening in the transmission housing required for the release lever.
