Right Secondary Air Metal Pipe, Remove and Install
(X 25 XE, X 30 XE)

 Remove
Pull back spring clamp (1) and detach hose from secondary air
right metal pipe.

Remove fastening bolt (1) from coolant intake pipe.
|
|
|
Unscrew upper and lower heat shield from exhaust manifold.
Fastening bolts (1) from exhaust manifold and remove right
secondary air metal pipe (2).

Install
Insert right-hand secondary air metal pipe with new sealing
washers into exhaust manifold – tightening torque 20 Nm / 15
lbf. ft. The retaining bolts must be coated with assembly paste
(white) prior to assembly.
Attach upper and lower heat shield to exhaust manifold –
tightening torque 8 Nm / 6 lbf. ft.
Attach coolant intake pipe.
Slide hose onto secondary air right metal pipe and fasten with
spring clamp.
