Steering Arm, Replace > < Steering - General

Tie Rod End, Replace

  Remove

Press tie rod end with KM-507-C or KM-260 (1) out of axle arm or out of centre track rod. Loosen corresponding clamping collar (2), screw out tie rod end.

  Install

Screw new tie rod end into tie rod tube. Take note of left hand and right hand threads. The tie rod end (3) with long threaded section for vehicle right hand side is marked with "R".

Install tie rod end with new fastening nut onto axle arm or centre tie rod – tightening torque 60 Nm / 44 lbf. ft.

Adjust tracking – see operation "Tracking, Adjust" in group "E"..
