Press centre button of infrared transmitter 1

Note:

 

Each time a button is pressed, the red LED in the infrared transmitter must illuminate (otherwise battery is flat).

 

 

If TECH 1 displays INVALID, infrared transmitter 1 is not programmed or the wrong infrared transmitter has been actuated.

 

 

The vehicle is supplied by the manufacturer with two keys whose infrared transmitters are programmed into the central locking control unit.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Therefore, NOT PROGRAMMED is usually displayed for the following parameters: KEY 3 STATUS to KEY 5 STATUS.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If TECH 1 displays OUT OF RANGE, infrared transmitter 1 must be synchronised as follows:

 

 

·   Ignition ON

 

 

·   Hold infrared transmitter 1 in the immediate vicinity of the infrared receiver in the interior lamp and actuate centre button several times

 

 

If TECH 1 does not then show IN

RANGE, infrared transmitter 1 must be reprogrammed.
