UNLOCK/DEADL.

Ignition OFF

All doors closed

 

 

Electronic immobiliser switched off

(if necessary, switch off using centre button of infrared transmitter)

 

 

Turn key 30° to the left in driver's door (unlock central locking)

 

 

Press key F5 in the TECH 1 main menu, select the desired test using the arrow keys and confirm with YES. Follow the instructions in the TECH 1 display.

After actuating the YES key again, the central locking can be switched between "unlocked" and "anti-theft device switched on" using the arrow keys:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Arrow key UP -> unlock central locking

Briefly UNLOCK then INACTIVE again

Central locking unlocked

 

 

 

 

 

 

Arrow key DOWN -> switch on anti-theft device

 

 

The check is completed after a maximum of 30 s.

 

 

Briefly DEADLOCK

then INACTIVE again

 

 

 

 

Note:

 

To avoid excessive heating of the servo motors due to continuous actuation, a pause is made after repeated actuation in quick succession (approx. 12 actuations in sequence) (TECH 1 parameter OVERFLOW PROTEC.displays

ACTIVE ). The control unit function is blocked for this period.

     to:         motor M18

 

 

·   Control unit K37 defective

 

 

·   Switch on anti-theft device and then unlock doors again by actuating TECH 1 arrow keys

Co-driver's door is secured with anti-theft device and then unlocked

·   Mechanism stiff

 

 

·   Body wiring harness, fault

     from:    control unit K37

     to:         plug X12

 

 

·   Co-driver's door wiring harness, fault

     from:    plug X12

     to:         motor M 32

 

 

·   Control unit K37 defective

 

 

 

Rear left door is secured with anti-theft device and then unlocked

·   Mechanism stiff

 

 

·   Body wiring harness, fault

     from:    control unit K37

     to:         plug X13
