Poor Engine Driveability

Engine runs uneven, engine shalls, engine control light goes on.

 

Cause:

Defective temperature sensor caused by friction corrosion on wiring harness plug.

Modified wiring harness is in production at MY`98.

No

 

In case of complaint install modified temperature sensor and wire harness plug.

 

Use proper Service-Instruction for replacing the temperature sensor.

Use wire harness repair brochure for replacing wire harness plug.

 

Consider wire cross sections (0.5 / 0.75 mm).
