Serve Motors
4 motors are required for the eight adjustment options. Three of these (seat longitudinal adjustment, seat height adjustment and seat inclination adjustment) are located in the seat console. The motor for the backrest adjustment is located in the backrest.
The serve motors are equipped with overload protectors. If the seat meets with an obstruction, this interrupts the current supply to the motor. If the motor for longitudinal adjustment should malfunction, the seat can be adjusted with an emergency crank stored in the vehicle tool set.
· Service
If replacement of a motor for seat height adjustment is necessary when the seat is in the lowest position, the relevant transfer pipe (5) must be separated at the middle (saw through at point X). The delivery range of the "Parts and Accessories" Department includes all components shown. The operations are described in the Service Instructions, group C.
