Voltmeter, range 20 V, DC

Voltage supply of electric outside mirror: mirror adjustment switch S68

Wiring harness coupling 9-pin/
Ter. 5 (+)

Wiring harness coupling 9-pin/
Ter. 6 (Grnd)

·   Ignition OFF

·   Reconnect wiring harness connection X11, driver's door/ body

·   Remove mirror adjustment switch S68

·   Release 9-pin wiring harness connection between S68 and driver's door wiring harness and disconnect

·   Ignition ON

·   Measurement at 9-pin wiring harness coupling

·   If nominal value is attained:

     proceed with test step 3

11.5 V

Possible Fault:

(If nominal value is not attained)

1.  Interruption or short circuit to ground in driver's door wiring harness between X11/ Ter. 11 and 9-pin wiring harness coupling Ter. 5, mirror adjustment switch S68

2.  Interruption in driver's door wiring harness between X11/ Ter. 6 and 9-pin wiring harness coupling Ter. 6, mirror adjustment switch

3.  No contact in lead connection X11
