Step 11 - Engine Compartment Sealing  

The following areas/aggregates in the engine compartment are sprayed manually with engine compartment corrosion-inhibiting sealing agents.  

•  Engine with engine aggregates (partially)  

•  Brake servo  

•  Brake lines  

•  Electrical components etc.  

 

Advantages of engine compartment sealing:     •  Resistant to both cold and heat.   •  Low fouling factor.   •  Long-term resistance to engine washes.   •  Sealed protective film.   •  Adhesion on the most varied of materials.   •  Optimal adhesion on thermally stressed parts, e.g. engine block.
