Step 2 - Spray/Dip Phosphatising  

Spray/dip phosphatising, both preceded and followed by cleaning and rinsing, provides the base for paint application.  

The following procedure is used:  

•  Cleaning and degreasing  

•  Spray/dip phosphatising  

•  Rinsing  

•  Blow-drying  

 

This process involves treatment with a phosphatising solution.   A crystalline layer is formed which neutralises points of different potentials.
