Brake Servo > < Brake Hose, Rear, Left or Right, Remove and Install

 

Brake Hose - Front, Left or Right, Remove and Install  

Correct brake fluid level up to "MAX" marking and seal with Dummy Screw Cap MKM-558-10.  

Object Number: 616191  Size: DEFAULT  Remove, Disconnect   

Remove front wheel. Unbolt brake line (1) from brake hose - collect escaping brake fluid and close off openings. Detach retaining plates (2).  

Unscrew banjo bolt (3). Remove brake hose from mount.  

Object Number: 2401544  Size: DEFAULT

 

 

Object Number: 616192  Size: DEFAULT  Install, Connect   

Insert brake hose in brackets and insert locking plates - ensure that brake hose is not installed twisted.  

Attach brake line to brake pressure hose.  

Attach banjo bolt with new seal rings to brake calliper.  

Remove dummy screw cap from brake fluid reservoir.  

Attach front wheel.  

Object Number: 616199  Size: DEFAULT  Tighten (Torque)   

Brake line to brake pressure hose - 16 Nm / 12 lbf. ft.  

Banjo bolt to brake calliper - 40 Nm / 30 lbf. ft.  

Wheel to wheel hub - 110 Nm / 81 lbf. ft.  

Object Number: 616196  Size: DEFAULT  Inspect   

Bleed brake system bleed and check for leaks - see operation "Brake System, Bleed and Check for Leaks".
