Adjustment unit (arrow) must be completely twisted together. Pinion must not lock at the end of the adjustment unit. After installing the brake drum, actuate foot brake at least 20 times, or at least until the adjustment lever can no longer be heard to skip. After adjusting drum brake: adjust parking brake - see operation "Parking Brake, Adjust (vehicles with drum brake)". Make short running-in journey of approx. 300 m/328 yards at low speed with parking brake slightly applied. |
