Toothed Belt Tension, Adjust

Notice:

Adjustment is carried out with the engine cold - at room temperature.

The timing must be checked as a precondition for this operation. This means that the crankshaft is positioned at the mark "1st cylinder ign.-TDC" (III), the marks on the camshaft sprockets must be opposite one another (I) and are fixed in this position using KM-852 (II) - see operation "Toothed Belt Tension, Check".
