Oil Dipstick Guide Tube, Remove and Install  

I	Version X 16 XE, Y 16 XE, Z 16 XE
II	Version X 18 XE1

  Remove, Disconnect   

For X 18 XE1: Unscrew fastening bolt (arrow). Detach heat shield (2) from exhaust manifold (3 fastening bolts).   Carefully pull oil dipstick guide tube (1) out of cylinder block.     Install, Connect    Attach new seal rings (3) to oil dipstick guide tube and lightly coat with engine oil.   Insert oil dipstick guide tube up to stop in cylinder block.   For X 18 XE1: Attach oil dipstick guide tube to exhaust gas recirculation valve adapter. Attach heat shield to exhaust manifold - tightening torque 8 Nm / 6 lbf. ft.
