Throttle Body, Remove and Install (X 16 XEL with Secondary Air System)
 Remove, Disconnect Remove upper part of inlet manifold - see operation "Inlet Manifold - Upper Part, Remove and Install (X 16 XEL with Secondary Air System)". Detach air intake pipe from throttle body and upper part of air cleaner housing - see operation "Air Intake Pipe, Remove and Install (X 16 XEL with Secondary Air System)". Detach connection port from throttle body. Detach accelerator Bowden cable from curved disc and bracket and lay aside to the rear. Remove fastening bolts (arrows) and lay throttle body aside downwards. Turn throttle body slightly, remove coolant hoses (1) and mark installation position - collect escaping coolant. Disconnect wiring harness plug (2) from idle speed stepper motor and wiring harness plug (3) from throttle valve potentiometer and remove throttle body. |

Notice: When replacing throttle body: transfer attaching parts.
 Clean Remove gasket remnants and clean sealing surfaces.
 Install, Connect Attach wiring harness plugs to throttle valve potentiometer and idle speed stepper motor. Attach coolant hoses to throttle body - ensure correct installation position. Attach throttle valve connection with new gasket to throttle body flange - tightening torque 8 Nm / 6 lbf. ft. Attach accelerator Bowden cable in curved disc and bracket.
Notice: Before assembling components of the intake system (hoses, connections, etc.), they must be cleaned of any possible contamination (grease, oil, etc.). When tightening the hose clamps, be sure to observe exactly the tightening torque of 3.5 Nm / 2.6 lbf. ft.
 Important! It is only ensured that the intake system is free of leaks, thus ensuring operational safety of the engine, if the hose clamps are tightened correctly to the prescribed tightening torque.
Install, Connect Attach connection port to throttle body. Attach air intake pipe to throttle body and to upper part of air cleaner housing. Install upper part of inlet manifold - see operation "Inlet Manifold - Upper Part, Remove and Install (X 16 XEL with Secondary Air System)". Top up cooling system - see operations "Cooling System, Top up and Bleed" and "Cooling System, Check for Leaks".
