Rear Toothed Belt Cover, Remove and Install  

  Remove, Disconnect   

Remove camshaft sprockets - see operation "Camshaft Sprockets, Remove and Install".   Remove camshaft sensor (1), adapter (2), toothed belt return rollers (3), return roller bracket (4) and toothed belt tension roller (5).   Remove toothed belt drive gear (7) - counterhold using KM-662-C (6).   Remove fastening bolts (9) from cylinder head, fastening bolts (8) from oil pump and remove rear toothed belt cover.     Important!    Before attaching the toothed belt drive gear, the condition and wear of the spring washer must be checked, replace if necessary.

  Install, Connect   

Attach rear toothed belt cover to oil pump and cylinder head - tightening torque 8 Nm / 5.9 lbf. ft.  

Attach toothed belt drive gear to crankshaft with new fastening bolt - counterhold using KM-662-C - tightening torque 130 Nm / 96 lbf. ft. + 40 ° to 50 ° .  

Attach return roller bracket to cylinder block - tightening torque 25 Nm / 18.4 lbf. ft.  

Connect toothed belt return roller to cylinder block - tightening torque 25 Nm / 18.4 lbf. ft.  

Connect toothed belt return roller to return roller bracket - tightening torque 25 Nm / 18.4 lbf. ft.  

Attach toothed belt tension roller to oil pump - tightening torque 20 Nm / 15 lbf. ft.  

Connect adapter to cylinder head - tightening torque 60 Nm / 44.2 lbf. ft.  

Attach camshaft sensor to cylinder head - tightening torque 6 Nm / 4 lbf. ft.  

Install camshaft sprockets - see operation "Camshaft Sprockets, Remove and Install".
