Timing, Check (X 16 SZR)  

Object Number: 616191 Size: DEFAULT  Remove, Disconnect   

Remove air cleaner housing - see illustration "Air Cleaner Housing, Air Flow Guide (X 16 SZR)".  

Mark running direction of ribbed V-belt. Tension ribbed V-belt clockwise using ribbed V-belt tension roller and KM-913-A and take ribbed V-belt out of pulleys. Remove upper part of front toothed belt cover (1).  

Object Number: 616196 Size: DEFAULT  Inspect   

At fastening bolt of toothed belt drive gear, turn crankshaft slowly and smoothly in direction of engine rotation to mark (3). At the same time, the notches (2) on the camshaft sprocket and the rear toothed belt cover must be aligned. If timing marks are not correctly adjusted - see operation "Timing, Adjust (X 16 SZR)".

Object Number: 616192 Size: DEFAULT  Install, Connect   

Install upper part of the front toothed belt cover to rear toothed belt cover - 4 Nm / 3 lbf. ft.  

Tension ribbed V-belt tension roller clockwise with KM-913-A and position ribbed V-belt - note running direction of ribbed V-belt.  

Install air cleaner housing - see illustration "Air Cleaner Housing, Air Flow Guide (X 16 SZR)".
