Timing, Check (16 LZ2 and 20 NEJ)  

Object Number: 616191 Size: DEFAULT  Remove, Disconnect   

Remove front toothed belt cover - see operation "Front Toothed Belt Cover, Remove and Install (16 LZ2 and 20 NEJ).  

Object Number: 616196 Size: DEFAULT  Inspect   

At fastening bolt of toothed belt drive gear, turn crankshaft slowly and smoothly in direction of engine rotation to mark (2). At the same time, the notches (1) on the camshaft sprocket and the rear toothed belt cover must be aligned. If timing marks are not correctly adjusted - see operation "Timing, Adjust (16 LZ2 and 20 NEJ)".

Install front toothed belt cover - see operation "Front Toothed Belt Cover, Remove and Install (16 LZ2 and 20 NEJ)".
